Well that will solve all the labor shortages in WA.
I suppose nows the time to sell property in Victoria and buy in WA.
Cash incentive fails to bring job snobs west

Eastern States job snobs facing the unemployment scrapheap are refusing to move to WA.

A Federal Government scheme offering cash incentives of up to $9000 to the jobless to move for work has proved a flop, with just 37 people moving interstate to WA in 18 months

Whats the point of offering $9K to move, when at the same time your propping up uncompetitve businesses, all the while robbing labour at projects that require them.

Of course to just close the car manufacturing and Aluminium smelters would completely dislocate both Victoria and WA simultaneously, this current approach is a softly softly appraoch, move or your in peril.

The key point worth debating,is, is sloppy going to pull $500 million out of the subsidies we already pay the car manufacturers?

His comments came after The Financial Review reported Shadow treasurer Joe Hockey had told colleagues he will counter any move to reverse the cut not only because of its importance to the Coalition’s overall savings plan, but also out of concern at the mounting federal payments to the big car companies.
