    Yes, very true, they have a lot of hydro-electric power, but why do you think they felt the need for nuclear power then? They also import their petrol like the rest of us - Swiss travel a fair bit, people holidaying in Switzerland travel and travel through Switzerland to get south. Heating: from what I've observed, apart from wood in the older masonry stoves (Kacheloefen) central heating is very common, which again is heated not by hydro but oil.

    Maybe my choice of country is poor and I had no intention of comparing it to Australia, but I felt the way they went about introducing and amending their tax and feeding it back into the economy is quite exemplary. I found this model instructive and hoped to help the debate; always assuming there could be a debate.
