It's amusing that you bring up Ford as an analogy of AEB. Many car companies popped up around the time Ford did. Ford was not the first. The first car company no longer exists. So basically, you're suggesting the AEB will be knocked out by someone who can do it better, like what Ford did. Sounds a lot like big oil coming in with their superior resources, taking the idea and running with it better than any little company could.
