Looks like Kev is feeling out the votes to be won if he cuts the "non tax" carbon tax.It is due to go up to $24.50/tonne on 1 st july,2013.

Other countries ,that actually reluctantly pay, have to pay around $6/7 per tonne,it seems.

One has to now ask....do we get a "tax refund" for over payment or has that money just gone down the gurgler with the pink batts and $900 LCD TV payouts? No doubt these monetary marvels are now working flat out to decide...one suspects that this time the answer will be...no refund available.

That is, once Kev has managed to round up the few ministers who have not bailed for.... "personal reasons".Could that personal reason be Kev?

The revolving door circus that is labor, continues.

Onwards good ship Australia mark 2,soon to sink like Gillards,no doubt.
