I have been posting updates on the prices for the trading EU Carbon credits.

Almost a decade ago, the chief executive of EON, Germany's biggest utility, said the EU needed to fix its "bust" carbon market #EUETS. CO2 prices were at around 9 eur then, pushed down by persistent oversupply. By 2013, they fell to as low as 2.46 eur.
Today they are almost 37 times higher.

We have seen the prices rally this year. But now the rally seems to accellerate, Carbon permits in the EU cap-and-trade market have just hit a record of 90.75 euro. The pace is unprecedented: 50% in a bit more than 5 weeks!!

Things that politics can't seem to arrange can be pushed by financial markets, we are hitting territories where renewables are becoming more and more able to compete with traditional fossil industry.

Clean Hydrogen is still the way to go to decarbonize the steel and ammonia industry. Blue Hydrogen's coffin has been almost nailed shut through different scientific and political reports. Green Hydrogen will not less expensive and are hard to scale up to the real need. Leaves us clean hydrogen. Hazer is still the most advanced proposition on the market. Despite that we did not see any names of potential partners or customers, potential customers will be aware of the carbon credit pricing. Yes and therefore EU customers are important! With such increments in carbon pricing investment decision might be accellerated as well.
