The Co2 cost per tonne will go in only one direction and that is up ... after all there are studies showing a Co2 price of $60-70 and Brandt has extolled the virtues of how carbon price can be ratcheted up.

$23 is the introductory price ... only part of the sales pitch to suck the populace in.

There is IMO simply not enough discussion and media coverage about a future direction of a carbon price and the safe guards to ensure the economy is not damaged by future rises.
