Executives from NAB, Qantas, Woolworths, Toyota Australia, AGL, Origin, Woodside, Rio etc etc seem to have a broader view of the world that the Liberal Party.

I don't think these people are turning green.
Reminds me of that saying, Have your friends close, your enemies, closer.
If they join the committee, I would think they would have more control on what happens to them.
They might deal to get exemptions of other taxes, fees, to be seeing to support carbon taxes.
