Executives from NAB, Qantas, Woolworths, Toyota Australia, AGL, Origin, Woodside, Rio etc etc seem to have a broader view of the world that the Liberal Party.
Happy to join the committee to "focus on the importance of the introduction of a carbon price to supporting a sustainable economy, supporting jobs growth and safeguarding our environment"
To equate this statement to being a confirmation that these organisations support a carbon tax is just plainly ridiculous.
Of course these large companies want in on a committee. Then just like the mining tax, they can strike secret deals with the government to give them beneficial treatment at the expense of all the thousands of other smaller businesses in Australia.
