Bad luck with your punt on MDV, but they dont offer an alternative or mutually exclusive capability to that offered by STP.
The waste disposal units being developed by MDV are large expensive high volume machines, well out of reach of anyone but the largest of hospitals. What about all the small hospitals and medical clinics, they will still need their waste transported to a disposal unit of some type.
