What about the circumstances of the voters? Health insurance to go up over 5%, Flood Levy, massive dislocation and misery caused by floods and cyclone.
Any reasonable leader would be consigning a carbon tax or emissions trading scheme to the waste bin, at least for the next few years. She's obviously lost touch with the real world.
