Yep, and just the other day there was a news article about none of the banks coming to the party to finance a replacement for Hazlewood Power Plant in the Latrobe valley.
It seems to me that investment in cleaner technologies will happen regardless of whether the government implements the carbon tax. It's just with it implemented, the average Joe on the street has an opportunity to participate in the market.
