    Do not underestimate Apple, PowerbyProxi (PbP) was a NZ spinoff from Auckland Uni, specialising in wireless charging, large shareholders at the time a few years back were Samsung & TE, Apple acquired them under the stealth of darkness after PbP assisted Apple with wireless charging on iPhone 8/10...now they are Apple NZ R&D. PbP, like many other companies Apple acquire were private, however...interesting times...
