if they do let him off there's been a miscarriage of justice....not because of guilt or innocence, but because it's taken 2 months since they heard the appeal to deliver the verdict. Surely if it's a not guilty verdict it should be delivered in a timely manner so that the innocent party is imprisoned no longer than necessary.
