I'm relying on the judgement of the high court.
There's obviously at least some doubt about the conviction otherwise his application would have been turned down, but he didn't get leave to appeal he got leave to make his case to appeal, to the full bench.
His appeal could fall over at any time during that process.
He could also be ordered back to face a retrial.
Or he could be aquitted.
Might be six months or more before we know the result.
