Every hospital will want to use this cardiocel... Why?
The driver will always be the patient not the surgeon not the medical institution- both my folks had heart mitral valve replacements and i can assure you with such an invasive procedure the patient does a lot of research about what will be implanted and the best possible outcome....
Once this patch is common knowledge which patient would would a calcifying patch? I sure wouldn'twant it in my body and prospects of a follow up procedure when risks are even greater - we are talking open heart surgery here and if surgeons don't take this up people will find surgeons and hospital that will give them cardiocel ... Simple demand economics will drive the change!!!
