Correct me if I am wrong but this patch is a close cousin to existing patches ( Edwards use bovine patches currently- the difference is that cardiocel has its DNA removed via that adapt process to make a pure collagen patch). It's also been used for over 5 years and has all its approvals. It's not a patch that is derived from a different substrate as such ... More like the next gen patch that the body grows over to avoid calcification. hence uptake here should be less risky than something completely new.
Happy for other posters to add here if I'm wrong....
