My understanding is that it outlines a potential mechanism of caridoprotection without reducing (and perhaps increasing) the cancer killing ability of doxorubicin. The video talks about knockdown of POLDIP2 and apparently bisantrene doesn't have any effect on this protein, but I wonder if there is another mechanism by which bisantrene could cause heart cells to switch from being oxidative to glycolitic and achieve the same result.
