spot on! Given children are more susceptible to cardiotoxicity damage I find this example interesting. As we know cardiotoxicity is progressive but starts from dosing as highlighted below.

Not only the two pedeatric patients were heavily pretreated with cardiotoxic drugs. They lived full lives despite being most vulnerable to cardiotoxic damage.
They could have just been lucky?
Or, did Bisantrene prevent further damage to the heart, and potentially reverse any pre-existing cardiac damage that might have occurred between the failed treatments and Bisantrene dosing?
all hypothetical of course.
