How confident are you in regards to the MoA? From what I recall from the AGM recording, @Davisite's words were that "we're not flying blind anymore" but there was a very significant emphasis placed on the importance of additional pre-clinical work, particularly around the cardio-protection MoA. To me at least, I interpreted this as that they've got some idea, but that the MoA was currently not fully understood.
Also, do you know if the MoA required to be known (and if so disclosed) for a successful patent filing? Are you patenting the thing, or how the thing does its thing, or both?
