Race were confident in the MOA they were originally going to announce within 3-6 months of a 12 month program and went on radio silence when they realised it wasn’t a good idea. It is required for a patent to know what you are protecting.
There is value in knowing the MOA, whilst not required by Pharma or FDA it gives comfort, also insight into any safety concerns and ultimately more targeted trial design and commercialisation strategy.
Race has a royal flush but the market thinks it has a pair of two’s.
