Thanks Mason. I studied VO2 Max/Peak at Uni (it was during the EPO sports scandals in the 1990's so was quite fascinating!) but I just wonder whether it is the most accurate of measures. It's a test that obviously can show cardiovascular/lung health or decline but there are many variables that can impact someone's output in that style of test (drop in fitness from resting between tests, unknown viral infection etc). A mix of all the tests you have mentioned, including VO2, will prove out protection or not. Cheers Mate.
