Your main point I took away was that other FTO inhibitors despite their FTO inhibition capabilities end up being cardio toxic.

When Bisantrene is used individually it behaves just like other FTO inhibitors and is cardio toxic, but when used in combo Bisantrene’s special cardio protective properties show up and protects the heart (and its FTO inhibition capabilities either do not cause the same level of cardio toxicity or get suppressed). This unique property of Bisantrene makes it special and invaluable both to patients and shareholders.

Hi @Mason14 and @Boffin99 , could you please correct me if any of the following is wrong.

1. No FTO inhibitor is cardiotoxic when used on its own.

2. FTO inhibition increases the cardiotoxicity of dox when used in combo with the FTO inhibitor.

3. At least one FTO inhibitor, i.e. bisantrene, also has a cardioprotection mechanism of action (CP MOA).

4. If an FTO inhibitor's CP MOA is stronger than effect 2, which it is in bisantrene's case, the net effect is CP.

5. If an FTO inhibitor's CP MOA is non-existent or positive but weaker than effect 2, the net effect is that dox's cardiotoxicity is increased when used in combo with the FTO inhibitor.
