Keeping it to yourself. You manage direct property or fund of funds cajx? I am direct.

What role do you do? I work in investment management / portfolio management area.

cajx I agree with your view whole heartedly. If I had my own money I would be buying into the direct property market in the UK.
I looked at an office today, let to the government 12 years remaining on the lease, relatively new build 8.7% asking..
My thought was what the? If the govt were to leave, the building would have paid itself off by the time they did. (thats without using very prudent gearing)

Unfortunately I am doing very little around UK property acquisition at the moment. Mainly fighting fires on funds already under management. Also working on a business systems project.

Oh well at least I am working I suppose Cajx..

What do you think is going to happen in Europe? I think their property market is headed for more pain over the next 12 months. Allot more.
