Hey - I also hold 'IEP' (Icahn's publicly-listed investment vehicle) as well as BAL! I can tell you Icahn's biggest worry was Apple and their biggest iPhone market - China. When things eventually turn sour, people will always delay discretionary spending - such as upgrading iPhones, iPads, Hummers, etc. They will try and NOT compromise on baby formula, whatever the cost unless they lose their jobs. BAL is safe, and better prepared for Chinese infant formula regulation than most of their late-to-the-party competitors.
