What a pathetic argument . This is a supposed first world country , the death penalty will never happen ..every again here .
When ANY individual is imprisioned , a guest of her majesty , while Australia retains the monarchy ..that individual , all beit under lock and key ..Is certainly owed a duty of care . In the case of Carl Williams , even moreso , for Carl " rolled over " to provide the police with information . Any individual in the system is owed that care .
In a maximun security situation even more so ..Make no mistake , this is going to cost corrections far more than just money ..There should NEVER have been an opportunity , for any individual to even stike Carl Williams .
Its a disgrace , for a suppossed first world system ..and It will cost big time ..while daughters school fees continue to get paid .
