Wonder why they wouldn't consider throwing in a offer like this? i know it would be like chucking a hand grenade and there would be some bad blood amongst SVW and Co but business is business,you either kill or be killed.

That way they can ensure they get 100% of Coates Hire for under 1b,dispose of whatever they don't want, continue to trade the next 3-5 years then relist it at a huge profit.
