Carol Tacket, Travelan, and the New England Journal of Medicine, page-8

Thanks Pixie!  Yes, the early version of Travelan Dr. Tacket studied in a human trial provided 100% protection against ETEC.  9 of the 10 patients given placebo and challenged with a liquid form of ETEC strain developed diarrhea, but 0 out of 10 patients given Dr. Tacket's early version of Travelan and similarly challenged with ETEC developed diarrhea. 0 out 10. 100% protection with P value of .0001.  No side effects to drug were reported.  An astounding and incredible result published in the New England Journal of Medicine.

The recent DoD Travelan/Shigella challenge on non-human primates (I don't think it would be ethical to do a Shigella/ETEC challenge  on humans anymore ...at least....not in the developed world, anyway) provided equally compelling results.  There is absolutely no doubt Travelan and IMM-124E work to prevent these terrible bacterial GI pathogenic diseases.  The only question that remains is when Immuron can capitalize on it.
