Super important paragraph here discussing the specific vaccine-specific antibodies in Travelan and IMM-124 that set it apart from regular bovine colostrum and "are believed to provide the basis for the clinical protection afforded by HBC (today's Travelan and, perfected even more - specifically for inflammation - IMM-124E) in ETEC-challenged volunteers, which included reduced rate of illness (sure did...100% protection) and abdominal pain (reference #24 is Tacket's groundbreaking New England Journal of Medicine published study).  The authors then go on to discuss other cross-reactive antibodies found in Travelan and IMM-124E that explain why it is effective against Shigella as well (see the Immuron/DoD NHP press release earlier this year).
