Diligent; the culture of admiration, respect for and excitement about football which defines Marngrook could hardly be more at odds with the seedy, sleazy, disrespectful and discriminatory rubbish served up as entertainment on the Footy Show.

As a lifelong lover of Aussie Rules my passion has copped some real knocks due to the behaviour of AFL's old boy clowns' club and the impact it's had on impressionable young players and how women are treated. It's a stain on Aussie Rules.

From their sexist jokes in a Hawthorn pub to McGuire's appalling comments about Caroline Wilson, we need to say to these clowns; "Cut it out and get out of our faces!".
