Amid the current PM wrangling, "Senator Carr said he would not be putting his hand up for the leadership."

I hope not. He has been selected to fill a casual vacancy.....for mine he should be doing just that, and an elected member should be foreign minister. Like cricket, where the 12'th man cannot bowl and the like. Carr.....you are a 12th man.

Win a seat at the next election and then you can make a play for PM if you wish. You will not probably do either.
