As we know, C has a fair bit of Uranium in the ore body. P Hill also has some Uranium in it's concentrate, but it is not enough to cause Govt's or the smelters an issue.

Does anyone know whether the Uranium in C is at a concentration that is significant enough to trigger Govt licensing around the transport of radioactive materials?

Also, if this is the case, then there is a high likelihood that smelters may not be able to manage the concentrate due to the added rules wrt to radioactive substances.

WMC encountered the same issue when developing O Dam and so had a circuit to produce copper cathode and yellow cake. Will OZL need to go down this path as well? The high capex of C could be due to the cost of managing the Uranium.

Also, O Dam open pit has been deferred by BHP, with one of the reasons been given for the deferment being the uncertainty of the price of Uranium.

Does anyone have any knowledge about the issues I have raised?
