SFR make the following point in their latest quarterly activities report:
Surface drilling does not currently represent a cost effective or technically sound method for drilling out these remaining resources, which will therefore be drilled from underground as drilling locations become available.
this is from a company that has been VERY SUCCESSFUL in finding large quantities of good ore.
The Carrapateena Project STARTS at 470m. Teck and Co sold out because the project was going to be very EXPENSIVE to condcut exploration (READ RISKY) and someone offered them crazy price.
Ozl will have to write off all its 'investment' in Carrapatena until it comes up with something commercial.
