I used to drive a truck through the Adelaide hills fully loaded on roads that were originally built for horse n cart... traveling at 60ks n hour 20ks below the legal limit of 80kph...
The amount of cyclist's that gambled with their lives...as they cycled along with no shoulder to speak over...if they had any idea that I can't see around a corner as they'd just vanished and I come around at twice their speed...even if I swerved to miss them my trailers would hit them given the difference in trailer delay...
Not the cyclist's fault persay, but their ignorance of what's required to ride safely amongst other road users... Hence I couldn't drive in the hills no more.
