Not all cyclists wear lycra, sure you see them around our city mainly weekends but most cyclists are just biking to and from work. Road accidents happen whatever mode of transport. But there has been a high level of truck/ bike related deaths recently, in our city. Not saying who's to blame here. My Doctor had cycled all around Europe, no accidents until hit by a truck here NZ, my motorbike mate been riding all his life, until hit by a truck which had jack-knifed it's trailer into him., I gave my bike away after a driver of a parked car opened his car door in front of me just as I was passing him, which had my lying on the road. Enough already.............
