As a motorcycle rider, I've had my fair share of close calls with cars and trucks.

Did some stupid speeding on big Japanese sportsbikes over the years.

Some riders seem to have a death wish though, riding in driver's blind spots, overtaking over double yellow lines, and on the crest of hills etc.

And riding in the wet as if it was dry.

Now riding a Harley, I don't feel the need to speed like I used to.

Just cruise along, staying way in front of, or behind the pack of cars and their distracted drivers eating their breakfast and applying makeup etc.

You can't beat the feeling of freedom that comes with a motorcycle.

Just assume that everyone is out to kill you, and act accordingly.

    IMO
