    We could probably do that without building nuclear power stations and taking on any risk of a home-grown Chernobyl (which can't be ruled out completely). As we have some of the oldest and most stable continental crust in the World, I'm surprised no-one has suggested building the reactors in underground caverns with the turbines, cooling towers etc connected above. If Australians are good at anything, it is digging holes in the ground. sneaky.png
