Another reason for lower death rates is medical professionals might be more practiced at treating C19. When the virus first came out many doctors and nurses hadn’t seen it. Most will have now seen it and have better treatments. I also think Delta is a lot less deadly. Look at the death rate in Victoria last year compared to NSW this year. Similar cases yet less deaths recently.
i also think we should have Invermectim as part of our response. My wife was using it last year fir non. Covid reasons and it is cheap, no adverse reactions, and fast. I have family in Europe who had C19. The truth of the matter is death rates are very low unless you have underlying conditions.
