The Dec 2023 H1 reports shows profit before tax in the first 6mths at $175m and NPAT at 138.7m. They were still profitable last year but had a tax asset 30 June 2023 of $55m from 2022 losses. After 36m tax in H1 there is still a tax asset on balance sheet of 21.4m so lucky if they actually have to use any cash to pay tax after financial year, and if so its immaterial into FY25. A free carry year with almost no tax burden on all that cash earnings
Net equity as at Dec 23 674m - cash increased 42m in March + June?. Bloomberg shows P/B 0.75 and P/S 0.7 on Dec data, so probably P/B now 0.66 - ROE 22.5%.
