Hi SP,IMO, this is not rocket science.
Far are taking COP Senegal BV to arbitration, which was a subsidery of ConocoPhillips.
We know ConocoPhillips sold the (Company ),subsidery COP Senegal BV to WPL.
Here is where the (Indemnification to WPL lives)as first reported in the COP sale.
As it is still Listed in COPS latest 2018 sec filing, with the only wording change being (the tribunal is ongoing).
COP are,in there sec filings to this day, acknowledging potential liability to ConocoPhillips for the sale of COP Senegal BV to WPL as WPL now own COP'S Participating 35% working interest in Senegal.
So, I assume ConocoPhillips are defending the Far ICC case on behalf of WPL.
The COP-WPL "indeminity was for the
"Disposition" of 100% of the shares in COP Senegal BV.
