    Your point with regard to EZCORP is a good one, with small companies like these control is very important.

    You are correct that EZCORP may be acting as a controlling shareholder, I understand they own 33% so other shareholders do still have a voice.

    In practice when a company has been through such trials as CCV I have found shareholders to be open to proposals in everyone's interests. Without knowing much about the history I don't see that EZCORP's interests and mine/those of small shareholders are in conflict.

    As to "serial dissappointment" stocks being risky, that is sometimes true sometimes not. What's changed or needs to change.

    That brings me to my previous point, the company should strive to be less evil. Plenty of lenders operate in this space without the trauma CCV has been through.

    IMO that's the thing that needs to change. Stop attracting all this litigation by doing the right thing by your customers.
