marri - I have no more idea of how this will play out than anyone else. I post views based on what I see and what experience has taught me - doesn't mean I'm right though. On balance I'm still a buyer because my view- right or wrong is that there's more chance of surviving and things getting better, than the other way around. How can lawyers NOT make money ffs? Unless they're run by lawyers maybe? Bring on Houghton I say.
I don't see the directors buying or not buying as worth much comment in present circumstances - until recently they'll have been 'closed' in view of the sensitivity of the situation. They might well still be. Whether they are 'technically' doesn't really matter. Were they to fill their boots now, what sort of reaction would it cause if all turned out to be on the mend come August and the shares they recently bought were worth 5x what they paid for them, when not a word had been said to the market or anyone else about performance?
Maybe: "well done, chaps - you deserve it"?
