Fast growth is not always an unvarnished good thing. Mate of mine was a senior manager with one of Australia's largest insolvency practices. His observation was that 50% of the businesses had good business models, and were profitable, they just grew faster than their cash could support.

The other half were poor businesses.

CBD are a puzzle to me.

Should be very simple. Appendix 4C, Qtr end Dec 2009, closing balance cash $3,154.

Appendix 4C, Qtr end Mar 2010, opening balance cash $3,938.

An extra $784k between close of business Dec 31 and banks opening 2 January?

They did the same thing again (smaller number) Between closing balance Dec 10 and opening Mar 11, gaining $6k.

(Closing balance $5,233 opening $5,239)

I mean, its a great trick if you can pull it off, but how???
