The writer discovered (as the CEO or board never seem to declare these things) that Hugh Killen (CEO) donated $15k of AACo money (and lots of his time) to his old school (Kings School).The board seems to be very much out of touch with shareholders by constantly dismissing shareholders (‘… it was only $15,000…’) and using company funds for their own vanity and building their own personal profiles using shareholders funds.
The article also points to the expensive use of the company plane for Hugh Killen to ‘commute’ from his lifestyle property in NSW to Brisbane regularly at great expense - as Hugh didn’t want to move to Brisbane where the company head office is. Shows real commitment to the job (not).
