I've got lots of templates I reuse. This one on "Cash Margin" is just a little more detail than what I use for other stock comparisons. The source material is all readily at hand.

I have held SSN in the past - where I did some early work on hyperbolic decline curves with Sharks who used to post here. It may some time in the future become attractive.

Emailing SSN was something I did because I don't like "known unknowns" - such as the EBITDAX reconciliation.

But that may not get to "why" that you seek - as in why not do it for the many others. Well I have done so on a few. Some boards are more "engaging" than others. Some boards I don't think I can add any value - like I know very on offshore Africa or the shale of Karoo in Sth Africa. I've got a good handle on N.A shale - so I don't mind sharing - its what "social media" is for. Besides maybe someone will pay attention and find use (other than the trash can) for what I post in their own rational analysis to form an investment opinion on a specific stock

Flip side of that is why do other posters only promote a "buy" and highlight only macro level positives.

Same for the all the stock chat sites w/wide I think.
