i've had a little squiz at the co. sure, they make spelling mistakes, forget to attach presentations when they upload to the asx etc etc...but these are a couple facts that caught my eye:
-cash on hand as per presentation (19 may): ~$45 million (around 5cps, nice downside protection)
-spudding of a 2 tcf target well anyday now (as other posters have alluded to, 50% cos)
i love these estimates though also:
- csg 70 tcf (yeah ok, thats almost bigger than texas)
- ucg 10,000 tcfg!! (thats....ahhh....ummm..)
- gtl from ucg......wait for it....1 trillion barrels!!! (thats ahhh umm 1000 billion barrels of oil. (4 time saudi arabia..!!)
boom boom baby.
the only question i have, after my short little ramping, is...commercialisation?
ctp have been around since 05, have the largest acerage in australia, but have no revenues etc. how do management rate in getting these projects on stream if they hit the paydirt?
obviously, they will be farming out for some ucg expertise? has there been any definitive interest in this area as yet?
for me, this isnt an investment...yet. i'll be thinking about trading (hold none as yet).
