Would take a LOT more cash than BRN can put their hands on at this stage in their development to deploy the kind of sales effort that your suggestion entails. Do you see Intel, AMD or AMI selling their products direct to end users? Of course not, because they are an enabling part of a complete system not the complete system in themselves.
A great example of the VAR strategy is Progress Software - thousands of VAR's built up over a period of 10+years, few if any direct end user customers.....have a look at their share price.........
