Well, spi/spm arent actually shareholders until the deal is finalised.....that is until csd have the assets.
Putting their names up in lights as having all their shares issued is meaningless if they're bought back for $2
This is the point of the whole discussion, were still waiting. Things could actually still fall through. Im not suggesting they will and they probably wont. But based on what we know were short on cash. This has been a long drawn out saga. If it hadn't been such a long drama filled process on the back of years of waiting for some kind of deal to be finalised i dont think too many would be questioning how things are really going. But the FACT this has taken so long no doubt puts trouble into some peoples minds.
You dont think the chinese would like everything for a firesale?
Im not suggesting this mob will screw us, they probably wont. There are a lot of foreign investors who 'play the gamhe' so to speak and starve ASX listed companies of what they need. Then they move in cheaply.
Youd be foolish not to have considered this. Im not stating it for scare mongering or to get cheap shares. It is worth discussion. No point gloating over what we might have time and time again, doesnt help anything.
