Hey Ben,
The money that I manage myself I have outside of super for various reasons, mainly because I may want access to it in the near future.
At a discussion with my accountant , he advised me that an SMSF needs to be audited each year to make sure it is compliant.
He quoted me about $1,500 to set it up and then about $2,000 a year for compliance auditing.
