They are still regularly getting belted with one star reviews over customers' cards being blocked with the full amount of the purchase and for goods paid for but not delivered. Sales and adoption of new customers is the merchants' responsibility but they mis sell the product, Splitit cops the punishment from aggrieved customers and the merchant pays for Splitit's services while his cashflow is crimped and it is one big world of pain. Visa and MC Installments are issued and controlled by the card issuers and do the same thing but do not have the same problem because they make it clear to the customer before the sale. Splitit has an AI generated response to customer complaints on TrustPilot defending itself as having no part in the transaction at all, but it ignores the few people who go to the trouble of making favourable comments.

Splitit should never have have done the white label thing, except that as a non credit provider promoting credit products they fell foul of the law and were prosecuted. Hopefully they will find a way to put on some decent revenue sometime.

Same as always shareholders should be giving them stick instead of letting them get away with stuff
