It's not the ones from 35 years ago that want all this, it's the younger ones of today that want all this plus much more so don't blame the older ones.
We learnt to manage through high interest rates, but all this is not high interest rates.

yup, and worked out arses off to barely keep afloat. still don’t know to this day how we got through when many didn’t.
